BackgroundI previously traded in antiques and collectables at Barnard Castle for 17 years and I am now established in my home town of Darlington. I love collecting old and unusual items and talking about them. I have a particular interest in Stockton and Darlington Railway, the original railway line being 200 metres away from the property, whilst the Head of Steam Railway Museum (previously North Road Station) is an excellent focal point from my window. I enjoy painting in acrylics and other media and have a large selection of my artwork on show on the premises. Please also see the other pages of my website for a selection of my traditional and modern paintings. Latest News: See 'Antiques Road Trip' latest visit to my shop aired on BBC1 on Tuesday 18th January 2022. Catch it on BBC i-player series 24, episode 12. Antiques Road Trip: BBC TV programme 'Antiques Road Trip' has been filmed here four times with visiting Antiques Experts, David Harper (twice), Steven Moore and Christina Trevanion and with celebrities Hayley Mills and Stephen Tomkinson. |
